In 1994 I visited Grove Isle, Florida for the umpteenth time. This time I had my trusty Pentax K1000 in tow. At the time, Grove Isle had an incredible sculpture collection with over fifty works of art on display. The one work that always captivated me was a large-scale, Ferrari red, sleek metal sculpture called Argosy. It was created by Alexander Liberman who happened to be the art director of Vogue and later the editorial director of Condé Nast. In addition he published a book of photos The Artist in His Studio and authored three other books. The man certainly had an impressive list of accomplishments!
