Every once in a while an assignment comes up that is so damn fun I just have to tell you about it… In October I had a shoot at the Coliseum (Alliant Energy Center) with Jim Root and Josh Rand who play guitar in Stone Sour and Slipknot. After shooting the shit with the band we found the grittiest tunnel in the venue and snapped away. The editorial photos were assigned for the December issue of Guitar World and the spread looks kick ass in print! I officially have the bug to photograph more music artists.
