Yesterday, I passed this forsaken old farmhouse in central Wisconsin. I’d been wanting to photograph the place for a while now and finally stopped and grabbed some shots. I’m beginning to understand that places like this don’t stay up forever. Once they’re gone-they can never be photographed again.

I am an old woman – have moved alot..often think it is sad that houses can’t tell us their stories..the true history of families are held tight in these houses…secrets, laughter ,sadness, pain…every emotion there is…good times, bad times….Loved the picture.
